Where Did Keanu Reeves Hide a ‘Bill & Ted’ Easter Egg? | IMDbrief

Where Did Keanu Reeves Hide a ‘Bill & Ted’ Easter Egg? | IMDbrief With some help from #KeanuReeves and #AlexWinter, on this IMDbrief we track down our favorite Easter eggs in #BillAndTedFaceTheMusic (2020). After a decade of hints and promises, Reeves and Winter have returned as the most excellent dudes from San Dimas, Ted “Theodore” Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esq. The new film, directed by ‘Galaxy Quest’ (1999) helmer #DeanParisot, sees Bill and Ted deal with middle-aged woes as the world around them has grown more than they have, while they still have not written the song that was destined to unite the universe.

Of course, ‘Face the Music’ is also filled with references and callbacks to their original ‘Excellent Adventure’ in 1989 and their ‘Bogus Journey’ of 1991, so we went through the new film with a fine-tooth comb to find all the Easter Eggs we could, such as a connection to Rufus portrayer, George Carlin, a few familiar guitars and props, and a certain numerical reference that we think you may remember.
