This trailer is a bit short than usual, but I tried my best to bring back one of the classic franchise with THE MASK 3 dream trailer. I made it 3 because I’m counting the sequel even though Jim Carrey wasn’t in it. I wanted it to be silly so I used an animated movie called Minions The Rise of Gru to have a nice playful fun trailer soundtrack. This has to be the shortest dream trailer I’ve done this year of 2020 so far. Despite getting lots of “fresh” clips like cosplays of the mask, I had a hard time getting Jim Carrey lines.
However I still went on to making this dream trailer because I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey and The Mask franchise. There is a part in the dream trailer when Jim was looking at his girl, both was connected clips. The line “smoken!” was straight from The Mask film. I was lucky to find this incredible fan film of The Mask that I could use clips like discovering the mask and putting it on.
The last part with Deadpool was a last minute idea. This is not a rumor or anything just a personal interest to add. The Mask will always be one of my favorite Jim Carrey film. I had a lot of fun making this trailer. The title animation done by Revenge Of The Mask Film was my favorite.
